    Null routing in effect.

  • Update
    Update

We made it 24+ hours before we took another attack. We just processed an attack where it appears to not overwhelm the DDOS protection as the previous attacks has. These microbursts may cause timeout, but shouldn't take us fully offline.

  • Monitoring

Null route is removed from out. HH has identified that the attack is coming from a South American botnet.

  • Update
    Update

HostHavoc has placed a longer null route on us as this attack is still affecting their entire NYC data center. They are communicating with their T1 upstream providers to investigate further and find ways to mitigate.

    We are being attacked… again

HostHavoc fully mitigated the attack over night. Both HH and PPRP Infra will continue to monitor throughout the day for any potential secondary issues.

  • Update
    Update

HostHavoc is still working on mitigating this attack as it has saturated the T1 upstreams. They are constantly making tweaks to combat the attack that is flooding terabits of data every second. Our services may periodically become inaccessible until the attack is fully mitigated.

Chat issues
  • Postmortem
    Postmortem

Around 0300 this morning, our service encountered a network outage that lasted last than 5 minutes. As a precaution, the backend panel automatically restarts all game servers to ensure proper performance. Our FiveM servers were set to auto update on restart. Since it had been over 30 days since our last hard restart, it prompted an artifact update. CFX in there infinite wisdom tends to break things in their latest artifacts.

Artifcats 25963 (Released 17FEB2026) up to the latest as of the time of this writing (27092, released 19MAR2026) has an on going issue where the sandbox enviroment for Node.js causes some system critical dependencies to fail their build or activation. This broke many things that rely on "webpack" as it could not initialize.

    Following troubleshooting steps attempted:

    - Full server cache wipe
    - Replacing webpack from fresh install
    - Reinstalling artifact
    - Bashing head into wall
    - Scouring the cfx discord
    - Found related issues
    - Remembered the link to https://artifacts.jgscripts.com/
    - Saw issue
    - Attempt to revert back artifact, egg would revert
    - Attempt to manually install artifact, broke shit even more
    - Installed new egg, it works
    - Test changes
    - Chat works, but default chat rears it's ugly head for some reason
    - Update staging to reflect
    - ???

    - Profit

DT will be following up on the old chat appearing along with main chat

  • Resolved

Issue resolved mostly. Older chat runs in the background, but DT will follow up with same to diagnose.

We are continuing to work on a fix for this incident.
