📢 Learning Platform Update

The platform has been updated and tonight’s maintenance is complete.

What’s new

• Quizzes: questions are now clearly marked single-answer or multiple-answer.

• Answer review: if an assignment allows unlimited retries, students who pass can now see which answers were correct. Students who haven’t passed yet still can’t see the key.

• Instructors:

  • assignments can have optional due dates

  • assignments can run in a practice mode with model answers

  • the editor has an activity switcher, previews, a reusable block library, flashcards and H5P interactive content

• Documents and video: PDFs can be resized, downloaded and viewed fullscreen, and there’s a new video player.

• Progress: marking an activity complete is faster.

Fixes

• Completed assignments now reliably show as complete.

• Course ownership now moves automatically when an instructor leaves, so courses don’t get orphaned.

Groups and roles

• New groups assign automatically from your Discord roles at your next login: LCSO CID and ESU, LSPD OCCB and DRO, PBPD Wildlife and Vice, SAHP CVE and THI, SAFR SOG, SRT and SRT Coordinator.

• Trainer roles (Scene Cert Trainer, State Cert, DTR, FTP and FTL) now have the full instructor toolset.
